Who are we and why should I hire you?
We are a team of photographers dedicated to the art of capturing timeless memories. Amor Moments is headed by Justin, an international photographer coming from Singapore with over 18 years of experience. If you are looking for someone that has more experience than anyone in Boracay, and could be your friend, then you’re in the right place! Besides getting a photographer, we’re like a concierge! We can help you make necessary bookings in Boracay as we are well connected.

Who are our clientele?
Our clientele are by large people that take capturing memories seriously. They are looking for a photographer that is candid and casual and is able to relate to them at a personal level. They do their due diligence by checking online for reviews. 98% of our clients are international, coming from the United States, Canada, Australia, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Europe & the rest of the world!
Why are our prices very much different from everyone else in Boracay?
While most photographers here are freelancers, we work as a professional brand. You are paying us for our time, years of experience, our constant upgrade in professional equipment, processing software we subscribe to (nothing pirated) amongst many other costs involved in making your experience seamless & enjoyable.
We have been on the Nikon system for over 18 years and we are currently shooting at 45MP (almost like medium format) to give you very high resolution images (as good as 8K). We only use original Nikon lenses such as the 85mm f/1.2 & f/1.8 and the 35mm f/1.8 to give you sharp portrait images. We have also recently bought on the new Sony A7V and Sony’s 85mm f/1.4 GM2 and the 28-70 f/2.
Why do we shoot at only Sunrise & Sunset?
To put it simply, those are the golden hour time slots when the sun rises and sets. The 1 hour or so after sunrise and 30 minutes before sunset are the coolest time of the day (though it can still get quite hot). The lighting during these periods are not as harsh as other times of the day which often casts unwanted shadows on the body as well. Besides, it will almost be impossible to open your eyes with direct light shining on you.
This is only why we take on 2 shoots per photographer each day vs other photographers that shoot at fancy at any time of the day as long as make money out of you. We put your interest over ours.
What makes us different from other photographers in terms of style?
Most Photographers tend to use preset filters that change the color (i.e. making it more warm) of the original image. While that may appeal to many, and may look nice for the moment, we believe that colours should remain true tone, meaning, it’s original form. Besides, we’re shooting at the beach and Boracay has such amazing sunsets and lighting. Why change something that is so lovely in its original form. There are many ways to look at a picture, if there is a preset you may like, do let us know, though the clients that love our works love their pictures in it’s most original form. True tone images remain nostalgic over generations to come.
Where do we normally shoot?
We like to capture memories for you away from the crowd. We usually shoot at Punta Bunga that is shared by Shangri La, Movenpick & Crimson Resort & Spa) where we work very closely with these hotels. Besides, we are the only team that are Health Club members at the Shangri La Boracay. We also shoot at the quieter parts of the white beach as well as the beach at New Coast. We welcome you to have a drink at one of these resorts before we begin making memories together! Day passes, Vouchers, Dinners, we can help make recommendations and reservations so that you get maximum fun in Boracay!
What are deliverables I am expected to get back and how long does it take?
Like our packages state, we will be returning you all processed images. By processed, we mean that all photos have gone through our editing process where we adjust lighting as required (exposure, shadows, highlight, temperature etc). We do not count the images returned, as long as it is worth a memory, we give it to you.
During peak periods, we may take up to 3 weeks, but we try to give them back to you asap. We appreciate your patience as we only want to give you the best. And if you have requested for a reel, it will take up to a week after the photos have been done as we need the processed photos to be added into the reel. Reels are capped at 1 min. We believe that you trust our profession and judgement just as you have chosen to engage us.
Can I get the raw photos/videos as well?
Just like how cooks do not serve you raw ingredients, nor how artist give you their paint and brushes, we do not give our raw files. They are our intellectual property as well as our creation. We only want you to have and see the final product. Besides, raw files are really huge. Our raw photo files are 30-50mb each and videos are a few hundred to a few gigabytes big. If you need raw files, they will be sold at $50 per image and $100 per min of footage.
How do I reserve a reservation with you?
To make a reservation with us, we will need a 50% non-refundable deposit (and 100% payment for bookings made under a week) to secure our time. This is so that the date and time slot is reserved only for you and we no longer entertain any bookings for that period. Even if you were to cancel, chances are, we are no longer able to get any bookings for that slot. We can however, be a little flexible if you need a change in date, subjected to availability as our dates do get booked out months ahead.
Payment can be made in USD to our Wise account, PHP to our BDO, EastWest & Gcash accounts, and SGD can be made to our DBS account. Exchange rate for USD : PHP is $1 : P60 and SGD : PHP is $1 : P47.
